Monday Park Updates – 30 March, 2009

It’s Monday again, so time for some park updates.

  • MouseSteps have some photos of the Flower and Garden press event and of Remy from Ratatouille over at Epcot
  • Also on MouseSteps is a photo update of the new Characters in Flight balloon in Downtown Disney, Stitch’s new stage in Tomorrowland and the Bay Lake Tower over at the Contemporary
  • Orlando United also have a few photos of the new Tomorrowland developments.
  • MousePlanet have their regular Walt Disney World update, including news of free dining for Disney Visa cardholders and a few photos from around the resort.
  • Also on MousePlanet is their Disneyland update, which includes several photos and information regarding the new Celebrate: A Street Party at Disneyland, and updates on the many projects ongoing at Disney’s California Adventure.
  • MouseTimes have also posted a photo update from Disneyland.
  • MiceAge have a special photo update from Disneyland’s Celebrate: A Street Party.
  • MiceAge have more photos from the Celebrate: A Street Party in their weekend update, as well as some photos from non-Disney parks.
  • And finally, also on MiceAge, David Michael takes a look at the current state of Disney’s California Adventure and other SoCal locations.

Monday Park Updates – 23 March, 2009

Firstly, apologies for the lack of updates last week.  Work sent me to London for a week, and I wasn’t able to get a reliable Internet connection to update the site with.  Normal service resumes now, with this week’s park updates.

  • Mouseplanet’s weekly WDW update contains several photos of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
  • MiceAge’s weekend update contains some photos of the Pixar Play Parade and the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, meanwhile their Dateline Disneyland column has some photos of the latest from the DCA construction.
  • Studios Central’s weekly Studios Update has photos of the Snow White exhibit in the Art of Disney Animation attraction.
  • And finally, Westcoaster have a large photo update from the Disneyland Resort.

  • Episode 133: The Not-So Amazing Race – Although not quite this week, it’s still worth a mention.  Van and Matt Hochberg (of StudiosCentral/WDWToday) race their way from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom in this amusing video podcast.

WDW Radio

  • Episode 108 – Lou Mongello talks to some of the 2009 WDW Moms Panel, looks at WDW from a military perspective, announces a new contest and more.  WDW Radio also this week launched a new website.
