Well this one took us by surprise! We’d been so busy waiting for the Wii game, we didn’t notice that Disney had snuck out an iPhone version of Toy Story Mania.
The app is in the App Store right now, priced at £2.99 in the UK, and $4.99 in the US. To install the app on your iPhone or iPod Touch you will need at least 50MB of free space, so you’ll be wanting to connect to a wi-fi network or using iTunes to download it.

When Toy Story Midway Mania opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s California Adventure, many people commented on how well the attraction would work on Nintendo’s Wii games console. Now, that dream has been made a reality as Disney announced that such a release will be made later this year.
Not many details are out yet, but IGN have a few screenshots of the game, and the full press release that announces the game. Details that are known so far is that the game will support up to four players both cooperatively and competitavely as well as some “bonus 3D features”.
